Sweden specialty finance firm Hoist Finance raises dividend

Sweden-based specialty finance firm Hoist Finance AB (publ) raised its dividend to 1.90 Swedish kronor per share.

Shareholders approved the dividend at the company's annual general meeting May 16. The payout is expected May 23.

Shareholders also elected Jörgen Olsson as deputy chairman of the board. Meanwhile, board member Costas Thoupos resigned and Marcial Portela was elected to the board.

The board was authorized, until the next annual general meeting, to deliberate on the issuance of new shares to raise capital for acquisitions.

As of May 16, US$1 was equivalent to 8.72 Swedish kronor.
