Financial Accounting Foundation board appoints FASB chair

The board of trustees of the Financial Accounting Foundation appointed Richard Jones to succeed Russell Golden as chair of the Financial Accounting Standards Board, effective July 1, 2020.

To enable a smooth and orderly leadership transition, Jones is expected to join the organization in early 2020. He is chief accountant and partner at Ernst & Young LLP.
