* HBO (US) renewed comedy series "High Maintenance" for a fourth season. The show uses The Guy, a cannabis dealer played by Ben Sinclair, to tell a variety of stories about New York lives, HBO said March 19.

* HBO documentary "One Nation Under Stress," which investigates the decline in American life expectancy, will debut March 25, HBO said March 18. Neurosurgeon and investigative journalist Dr. Sanjay Gupta will look into opioid overdose, alcohol-related liver cirrhosis and suicide – primarily among middle-age, white working-class people.
* Starz renewed fantasy drama series "American Gods" for a third season, Broadcasting Cable reported March 18. The show is about a war brewing between Old Gods and New Gods and stars Ricky Whittle as Shadow Moon and Ian McShane as Mr. Wednesday.
* Viacom Inc.'s BET News will present "American Injustice: A BET Town Hall" on March 24 on BET. The town hall will be hosted by journalist Soledad O'Brien and explore the future of criminal justice reform in the U.S., Viacom said March 18.
* British-American historical drama series "Gentleman Jack" will begin its 8-episode season on April 22. The HBO and BBC One (UK) co-production tells the story of a landowner who is determined to transform the fate of her faded ancestral home, HBO said March 18.
* Nickelodeon (US)'s "Kids' Choice Awards 2019" will broadcast live on March 23. The "party of the year for kids" will feature appearances from stars including: Ariana Grande, Adam Sandler, Chris Pratt, Jason Sudeikis, and others.
* AT&T Inc. is debuting two new video packages that include premium access to HBO. In addition to HBO, the new packages, called DIRECTV NOW PLUS and MAX, will offer live TV channels and an on-demand library of movies and TV shows. With the MAX package, customers will get more live sports channels, video-on-demand choices, and HBO and Cinemax included, the company said March 12.
* Cinedigm Corp. struck a deal with Comedy Dynamics, an independent comedy production and distribution company, to launch and distribute its comedy channel Comedy Dynamics Network. Cinedigm Digital Network will offer full digital distribution of the channel, including third-party platforms, à la carte licensing options and a live-linear channel in the first phase of launch, according to a March 12 news release. The live-linear channel will launch in the spring.
* HBO confirmed the debut dates and estimated running times for the final six episodes of fantasy drama series "Game of Thrones." The first episode will air on April 14 and the season will end May 19, HBO said March 15.
* The latest season of street racing show "Street Outlaws" will premiere on Discovery Channel (US) on April 1, Discovery said. Viewers can watch the current season of the show on the Discovery GO app – free with their paid TV subscription.
* Emmy-winning comedy series "Veep" will begin its 7-episode, seventh and final season on March 31. "Veep" is a political satire comedy television series, starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Selina Meyer, who is hitting the campaign trail as she runs for president.
* HBO drama series "Warrior," based on the writings of martial arts legend Bruce Lee, will begin its 10-episode season on April 5 exclusively on Cinemax, HBO said March 11.

* Netflix Inc. tweeted that "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" 1 and 2 will be available on its streaming service on April 1.

* Netflix will premiere live-action interactive series "You vs. Wild," hosted by survival instructor Bear Grylls, on April 10, Broadcasting Cable reported. The 8 episode season will see Grylls embark on "exciting adventures all over the world," according to the report.
* Netflix acquired streaming rights to "Green Door," which is available on its streaming platform. The Mandarin title is adapted from Taiwanese author Joseph Chen's novel of the same name.
* Brian Helgeland will write and direct "Button Man," the story of an ex-military contractor who becomes a proxy in a competition among the super rich for Netflix.
* "The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann," a detailed look of the disappearance of 3-year-old Madeleine McCann who vanished from the seaside resort of Praia da Luz in Portugal, while on holiday with her family, launched on Netflix on March 15.
* Netflix will be "doubling down" on interactive storytelling over the next couple of years following the success of "Black Mirror" spinoff "Bandersnatch," Todd Yellin, the company's vice president of product, said while speaking at an event in Mumbai. Yellin called the company's first foray into interactive storytelling "a huge hit around the world" and "something we want to bet more on."
* PBS (US) launched its "PBS Living" streaming service on Amazon.com Inc.'s Prime Video Channels on March 14, The Hollywood Reporter reported March 12, citing a company statement. The $2.99-a-month subscription video-on-demand offering will feature classic PBS series including "The French Chef," "This Old House" and "Antiques Roadshow," in addition to recent programming.
* Netflix said March 11 that it struck partnerships with Japanese production studios Anima Inc., Sublimation Inc. and David Production to co-develop original anime series. Among them are "Altered Carbon: Resleeved" produced by Anima, based on an original live-action science fiction Netflix series. From Sublimation, Netflix has ordered "Dragon's Dogma," an anime series based on a Capcom Co. Ltd. video game. Netflix will also team up with David Production to create "SPRIGGAN," inspired by a manga series.
* Netflix will stream "My First First Love," a Korean romcom original series, globally on April 18. The series follows unexpected love and personal growth, depicted through relationships of five young adults who find their first-time adulthood romances rather difficult and emotionally challenging, the company said March 10.
* The third season of family drama series "Harlots" will return on Hulu LLC's video service on July 10, Broadcasting & Cable reported March 7. The series, which is set in 18th century London, follows the fortunes of the Wells family.
