Amazon Prime Music launches in Australia

Amazon.com Inc. launched its ad-free and on-demand music streaming service, Prime Music, for Prime members in Australia.

Powered by the company's digital assistant Alexa, Prime Music has a catalog of over 2 million songs and more than 200 locally curated playlists and stations based on a variety of genres and moods.

It also includes an Amazon Original "Made in Australia" playlist, which features newly recorded covers of classic songs by local artists. Customers can also save playlists, albums and more for offline playback on mobile devices.

Prime Music is included in every new and existing Prime membership at no additional cost.
