Compañía Goodyear del Perú S.A. said its normalized net income for the second quarter came to 11 Peruvian céntimos per share, a gain of 30.3% from 9 céntimos per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 10.4 million soles, an increase of 30.3% from 8.0 million soles in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 9.2% from 7.8% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 10.7% on an annual basis to 113.1 million soles from 102.2 million soles, and total operating expenses increased 6.5% on an annual basis to 98.0 million soles from 92.0 million soles.
Reported net income grew 27.3% from the prior-year period to 10.7 million soles, or 12 céntimos per share, from 8.4 million soles, or 9 céntimos per share.
As of Aug. 1, US$1 was equivalent to 3.35 soles.
