Alternative investment manager Audax Group closed its latest private equity fund at its $3.5 billion hard cap.

Investors from the U.S., Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, the Middle East, Canada and Latin America participated in the fundraising. The fund had a $3 billion target.

Audax Private Equity Fund VI, similar to previous funds in the series, will target investments in middle-market companies based in North America.
