Chile's Cencosud plans IPO of shopping mall unit

Chilean multi-brand retailer Cencosud SA will list shares of its commercial shopping mall unit on the local stock exchange by way of an IPO, Reuters reported Aug. 31, citing a company announcement.

Cencosud, which operates in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Peru, plans to privately place a minority stake in the unit when the IPO takes place between March and April 2019, the report said.
