Pendergardens Developments PLC said Dec. 11 that CEO Peter Diacono is stepping down from his role, effective Dec. 31.

Diacono's resignation comes with the imminent completion of the construction stage of the company's Pendergardens Project in Malta.

The outgoing executive will stay on as a consultant to the company's board and will be replaced by COO Emmanuel Briffa.
