AIA Insurance Lanka PLC has appointed Nikhil Advani CEO, effective July 1 subject to approval of the Insurance Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka.

He replaces Pankaj Banerjee, who will be relocated to Hong Kong as the CEO for group partnership distribution at AIA Group Ltd.

Advani currently leads the customer strategy, transformation and marketing functions at AIA Insurance Lanka. He has worked as the company's chief marketing officer since 2016.
