Helma Eigenheimbau H1 profit climbs 60.5% YOY

Helma Eigenheimbau AG said its normalized net income for the first half was 81 euro cents per share, an increase of 42.9% from 57 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €3.2 million, a gain of 60.5% from €2.0 million in the prior-year period.

Total revenue increased 33.8% on an annual basis to €103.0 million from €77.0 million, and total operating expenses increased 34.1% from the prior-year period to €96.7 million from €72.1 million.

Reported net income rose 65.9% year over year to €3.6 million, or 90 cents per share, from €2.2 million, or 61 cents per share.
