Almarai shareholders elect board of directors

Shareholders of Riyadh-based food and beverage firm Almarai Co. appointed nine directors to its board, according to a May 20 release.

Current directors Saudi Arabian princes Sultan bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Kabeer and Naif bin Sultan bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Kabeer were reappointed to the board.

Newly appointed directors include Sultan bin Abdulmalek Al- alsheikh, Peter Amon, Saad bin Abdulmohsen AlFadly and Ammar bin Abdulwahid Alkhodairi.

Suliman bin Abdulkader Al Muhaideb, Bader bin Abdullah Al Issa and Anees bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Moumina were also re-elected.

All directors will serve a three-year term beginning Aug. 7 and ending Aug. 6, 2022.
