CopperPoint Insurance Cos. appointed Brad Lontz senior vice president and chief information officer.

He will oversee information technology operations for CopperPoint's insurance companies: CopperPoint, Pacific Compensation Insurance Co. and Alaska National Insurance Co.

Lontz previously was chief information officer for California Dental Association.
