Mesa Exploration Corp. said Jan. 30 that it has acquired mineral leases comprising 1,923 acres in the Montezuma Canyon Mining District and 640 acres in the Browns Hole Mining District in Utah.
Uranium deposits in the districts are hosted in the Morrison and Chinle formation, both of which occur on the projects.
The company recently acquired the 1,280-acre Noah uranium project in the Lisbon Valley Mining District of Utah.
Mesa's acquisition of these projects is another step of positioning the company to benefit from the long-term fundamentals of nuclear power generation.
