Southeast Asian ride-hailing platform Grab signed a memorandum of understanding with Honda Motor Co. Ltd. to collaborate on enhancing its motorcycle-based service GrabBike, the company announced Dec. 12.

Honda also made an investment in Singapore-based Grab, but the amount was not disclosed.

In addition, the two companies will team up to address urban transportation issues in Southeast Asia, including working on driver education programs and targeting traffic congestion with ride-sharing and technological solutions.
