Wyndham Hotels & Resorts said the groundbreaking of a new Dolce Hotels and Resorts by Wyndham hotel in Texas Hill Country, the first in the state, is expected in early 2020.

The hotel is owned by the Baxter family and will be managed by Wyndham's management arm.

The hotel, in Fredericksburg, will sit on 70 acres adjacent to a Fiesta Winery. It will have 150 rooms and approximately 9,000 square feet of event space, including a tasting room.
