Scripps Networks Interactive Inc. is partnering with Facebook Inc. to develop premium lifestyle shows for Facebook's video platform Watch and for its featured Spotlight section.

Scripps' digital production arm Scripps Lifestyle Studios will produce the shows inspired by content on Food Network (US), HGTV (US) and Travel Channel (US), along with shows created exclusively for Facebook.
Scripps' shows in Spotlight, created exclusively for Facebook, include Food Network's "Experimental Eats," which is a curated collection of social feeds and celebrity news that challenges foodies to try the daily diets of famous people.
"Our digital strategy to reach younger audiences with original inspirational and aspirational content is a perfect fit for Facebook's new video-focused platform," Vikki Neil, general manager of Scripps Lifestyle Studios, said in an Oct. 9 news release.
