USAA ventures into small-business lending

USAA Federal Savings Bank is getting into small-business lending through a program that refers customers to Reston, Va.-based financial technology company StreetShares Inc., American Banker reported.

USAA's website states that the loans will be available to members in the second half of 2018. Applicants need to have been operating for at least one year with $25,000 in annual revenue.
