Adnams H2 profit climbs 6.5% YOY

Adnams PLC said its normalized net income for the second half came to £1.8 million, a gain of 6.5% from £1.7 million in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

Total revenue increased year over year to £36.6 million from £36.0 million, and total operating expenses grew year over year to £33.7 million from £33.3 million.

Reported net income totaled £2.4 million, compared with £2.5 million in the year-earlier period.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled £2.11 per share, an increase of 7.1% from £1.97 per share in the prior year.

Normalized net income was £2.2 million, an increase of 7.1% from £2.0 million in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue totaled £65.7 million, compared with £66.0 million in the prior year, and total operating expenses came to £62.1 million, compared with £62.6 million in the year-earlier period.

The company said reported net income increased 8.2% on an annual basis to £3.2 million, or £3.14 per share, in the full year, from £3.0 million, or £2.90 per share.
