Saudi stock exchange appoints ex-LSE CEO Rolet to board

Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) appointed former London Stock Exchange Group PLC CEO Xavier Rolet as a member of its board of directors.

Rolet stepped down as head of the LSE in November 2017 and is currently CEO of London-based asset manager CQS (UK) LLP.

Tadawul also appointed Mark Makepeace as a board member. Makepeace was previously CEO of global index provider FTSE Russell, a unit of LSE, Financial News reported.

The rest of the members of the board are Khalid Abdullah al-Hussan, Sarah Jammaz al-Suhaimi, Yazeed Abdulrahman al-Humaid, Hashem Othman al-Hekail, Sabti Suliman al-Sabti, Yousef Abdullah al-Benyan and Rania Mahmoud Nashar.

They will serve on Tadawul's board for a three-year term.
