Minnova Corp. said Oct. 15 that it secured an option to acquire the La Esperanza gold property in Peru from Inkarri Comercializadora Perú SAC, a regional toll mill operator.
La Esperanza comprises two concessions across 7 square kilometers in the historic Pullo gold mining district. It hosts two distinct, epithermal-style gold-silver-copper mineralized structures.
The company is required to pay US$650,000 and issue 500,000 shares in stages over two years from signing.
Minnova CEO Gorden Glenn said the company's work program will include mapping, drilling and trenching to develop a gold resource on the property.
The company will continue to work with Inkarri as a strategic partner in the Pullo district and elsewhere in Peru to acquire and consolidate other prospective exploration assets or small-scale operations.
