Chinese regulator suspends online insurance businesses of 2 firms

China's insurance regulator suspended online insurance businesses of Huaxia Life Insurance Co. Ltd. and Soochow Life Insurance, Reuters reported Dec. 28.

The China Insurance Regulatory Commission also barred the companies from obtaining approval for new products for three months.
