David Ozer, president of IDW Media Holdings Inc. unit IDW Entertainment LLC, is leaving the company to become an independent producer.

IDW Entertainment was launched in 2013, and Ozer and his team were responsible for building the division, according to an Aug. 10 news release.

IDW Entertainment projects in active development include properties based on comic books and graphic novels.
