Zillow Group COO to step down

Zillow Group Inc. COO Amy Bohutinsky has joined the company's board and will step down from her role as COO in January 2019.

The company also appointed Aimee Johnson chief marketing officer and Jennifer Rock chief accounting officer. Rock will retain her current role as Zillow's interim CFO while the company continues its search for a new financial chief.

Bohutinsky, who joined the company in 2005, has been Zillow's COO since 2015 and has held several leadership positions within the company, including chief marketing officer from March 2011 to August 2015 and vice president of marketing and communications from September 2010 to March 2011.

Johnson, who will join Zillow in November, most recently served as Starbucks Corp.'s senior vice president of customer relationship management.

The Zillow Group houses a portfolio of consumer brands, including real estate and rental marketplaces Zillow, Trulia, StreetEasy, HotPads, Naked Apartments, RealEstate.com and Out East.
