Apex Resources Inc. said Oct. 5 that its joint venture partner at the Kena-Daylight gold project in British Columbia, Prize Mining Corp., is undertaking an environmental baseline and monitoring program.

Prize Mining President and CEO Feisal Somji said the company is moving toward a discovery-focused drill program this fall.

The company is undertaking a baseline water quality sampling program at 16 creek sampling locations, with results to be incorporated into permitting for a bulk sampling program in 2018.
