Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired El Centro, Calif.-based Tyler Insurance Agency.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Allen Tyler, David Tyler and their associates will continue to operate from their current location under the direction of Scott Firestone, head of Arthur J. Gallagher's Southwest region retail property and casualty brokerage operations.

Tyler Insurance Agency provides home and auto insurance, business and agribusiness insurance, workers compensation and life, health and employee benefits.
