Brown & Brown of South Carolina Inc. has acquired substantially all of the assets of Insurance Management Group Inc.

The target provides employee benefits and property and casualty insurance products and services to businesses and individuals across South Carolina.

Mike Keeby, a regional president in Brown & Brown Inc.'s retail segment, will oversee the newly combined South Carolina retail operations.
