Airtel off-loads US$407M stake in Bharti Infratel

Bharti Airtel Ltd., through its subsidiary Nettle Infrastructure, off-loaded a 3.6% stake in Bharti Infratel Ltd for about 26 billion Indian rupees, or US$407.3 million, to help lower the company's debt, The Economic Times of India reported.

The shares were sold at the Indian stock exchanges.

As of Aug. 7, 2017, US$1 is equivalent to 63.84 Indian rupees.
