Thompson Siegel & Walmsley details succession plan

Thompson Siegel & Walmsley LLC said its current president, Frank Reichel, will succeed Horace Whitworth as CEO on Sept. 30.

Reichel will continue as co-portfolio manager of the company's small-cap value and small-/mid-cap value strategies. Whitworth will remain CFO until the company names a new CFO. Following that, Whitworth will serve in a senior advisory capacity until his retirement.

John Reifsnider, currently a managing director, will become president. He will retain his supervisory role of institutional marketing and client service.

The Richmond, Va.-based asset manager is owned by BrightSphere Investment Group PLC.
