Echo ResourcesLtd. said July 8 that it has applied for an additional 128 squarekilometers tenement of highly prospective ground contiguous to its flagshipJulius golddeposit in the Yandal greenstone belt of Western Australia.
The company's application for exploration license EL53/1900ups its total land holding in the area to 850 square kilometers.
With no competing application, Echo Resources is confident itwill be granted the license soon.
Recent magnetic surveys of the Yandal belt highlighted thetenement area as prospective for Julius-style gold discoveries.
Echo Resources said it will conduct an extensive drillprogram at the site in the coming weeks.
