AgroGeneration H1 loss narrows YOY

AgroGeneration SA said its normalized net income for the first half amounted to a loss of 5 euro cents per share, compared with a loss of 10 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of €4.7 million, compared with a loss of €9.6 million in the prior-year period.

Total revenue climbed 24.2% on an annual basis to €3.8 million from €3.1 million, and total operating expenses grew 14.8% from the prior-year period to €7.6 million from €6.6 million.

Reported net income came to €233,000, or 0 cents per share, compared to a loss of €5.4 million, or a loss of 6 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
