Kroll assigns ratings to Malvern Bancorp

Kroll Bond Rating Agency on Jan. 24 assigned a number of ratings to Malvern Bancorp Inc., including a senior unsecured debt rating of BBB and subordinated debt rating of BBB-.

The rating agency also assigned a short-term debt rating of K3 to the Paoli, Pa.-based company while also assigning unit Malvern Federal Savings Bank senior unsecured debt and deposit ratings of BBB+, a subordinated debt rating of BBB, and short-term debt and deposit ratings of K2.

All long-term ratings have a stable outlook.

Kroll cited the strength of the company's capital position, organically expanding franchise and experienced management team as factors that support the company's ratings.
