Quest Diagnostics Inc.'s board elected President and CEO Stephen Rusckowski as board chairman.
Rusckowski has served on the company's board since May 2012. He succeeds Daniel Stanzione, who was appointed as a lead independent director.
The appointments are effective Jan. 1, 2017.
