Sunjuice Holdings Q2 profit climbs YOY

Sunjuice Holdings Co. Ltd. said its second-quarter normalized net income was NT$2.82 per share, a gain from NT$2.75 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$76.8 million, an increase from NT$74.7 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin dropped to 10.0% from 10.6% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 9.5% on an annual basis to NT$767.9 million from NT$701.2 million, and total operating expenses rose 9.8% year over year to NT$635.7 million from NT$579.2 million.

Reported net income declined 10.9% on an annual basis to NT$73.1 million, or NT$2.69 per share, from NT$82.1 million, or NT$3.02 per share.
