Ambra fiscal Q3 loss narrows YOY

Ambra SA said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended March 31 came to a loss of 13 groszy per share, compared with a loss of 20 groszy per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of 3.4 million zlotys, compared with a loss of 5.0 million zlotys in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin increased to negative 4.5% from negative 7.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew 15.4% on an annual basis to 74.6 million zlotys from 64.6 million zlotys, and total operating expenses grew 8.5% from the prior-year period to 78.6 million zlotys from 72.4 million zlotys.

Reported net income came to a loss of 4.5 million zlotys, or a loss of 18 groszy per share, compared to a loss of 6.3 million zlotys, or a loss of 25 groszy per share, in the year-earlier period.

As of May 12, US$1 was equivalent to 3.87 zlotys.
