Irvine, Calif.-based Bancof California Inc. promoted Thedora Nickel to chief administrative officer,according to a March 31 news release.

Nickel, who most recently served as executive vice presidentof operations and joined Banc of California in 2013, was also appointed to the company'sexecutive committee.

The new position added direct responsibility for human resourcesand other key administrative functions, while Nickel continues to be responsiblefor the company's operations and treasury management services.
