My Humble House Q2 profit falls 16.5% YOY

My Humble House Hospitality Management Consulting Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the second quarter came to 30 Taiwan cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 33 cents per share.

EPS fell 20.6% year over year from 38 cents.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$32.2 million, a decrease of 16.5% from NT$38.6 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin fell to 3.3% from 3.7% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue declined 5.3% year over year to NT$991.6 million from NT$1.05 billion, and total operating expenses declined on an annual basis to NT$950.8 million from NT$992.2 million.

Reported net income fell 29.1% year over year to NT$32.9 million, or 31 cents per share, from NT$46.4 million, or 46 cents per share.

As of Aug. 12, US$1 was equivalent to NT$31.39.
