Council Meetings
Each quarter council members participate in meetings to develop and examine the implications of global scenarios that incorporate risk factors such as dramatic changes in oil prices, political instability or exchange rate fluctuations. Meetings consist of two face-to-face discussions and two teleconferences. Components include:
- Member-directed scenarios: council members are polled before each meeting to determine topics of greatest interest
- Scenario generation: analysis is based on our proprietary Global Link Model
- Presentation: scenarios and their implications for strategies and contingency plans are discussed in depth
- Peer-discussions: interactive exchanges enable members to address business-critical issues

- Incorporation of macroeconomic indicators and sectoral and commodity price data from S&P Global practices specializing in trade, energy, commodities, consumer markets and risk
