Palantir earnings preview: Q3 2026

Palantir Technologies Inc. (NYSE: PLTR) is expected to report a strong third quarter, with Visible Alpha consensus estimates pointing revenue of $2.18 billion, up 84.9% year-on-year, with adjusted earnings of $0.41 per share.

The Commercial segment is expected to be the primary growth engine, with revenue forecast to surge 105.9% to $1.06 billion, outpacing the Government segment's projected growth of 67.3% to $1.13 billion. The estimates point to growing momentum in Palantir's commercial business as organizations increasingly adopt its AI platforms.

Growth is expected to be supported by both new customer acquisitions and higher spending from existing clients, based on consensus expectations. Palantir's total customer count is projected to reach 1,101 in the third quarter, compared with 911 in the year-ago period and 1,049 in the previous quarter. Meanwhile, average revenue per customer is expected to rise to $1.99 million, up from $1.3 million in the third quarter of 2025 and $1.85 million in the second quarter of 2026, indicating deeper customer engagement and increased monetization.

For full-year 2026, Visible Alpha consensus estimates call for revenue of $8.22 billion, representing an 83.6% increase from 2025. Commercial revenue is projected to climb 101.4% to $4.18 billion, exceeding the Government segment's expected growth of 6.84% to $4.05 billion. Commercial operations are therefore expected to become Palantir's largest revenue contributor in 2026, accounting for approximately 51% of total sales.
