Amadou Yattassaye was appointed president of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Missouri, effective Aug. 21.

Yattassaye, who currently serves as COO of Empire BlueCross BlueShield, succeeds Steve Martenet, who was recently named president of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Ohio.

In Missouri, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield is the trade name for RightCHOICE Managed Care Inc., Healthy Alliance Life Insurance Co. and HMO Missouri Inc.
