Securian Financial Group selling H. Beck

Securian Financial Group Inc. will sell H. Beck Inc. to independent adviser platform Kestra Financial Inc.

The buyer will not absorb H. Beck; it will keep its brand and operational autonomy and be managed by its own executive team. For Securian, the divestiture allows it to focus on its other businesses, including Securian Financial Services Inc.

The deal's financial terms were not disclosed, but the acquisition is expected to close before the end of 2017.
