Fernandina Beach, Fla.-based CBC National Bank named Mitchell Smith executive vice president and chief credit officer.

Smith is replacing long-time chief credit officer, who has taken a different position with the company.

Smith most recently served as chief credit officer of Albany, Ga.-based HeritageBank of the South, which was acquired by Renasant Corp. in July 2015.

CBC National Bank is a subsidiary of Coastal Banking Co. Inc.
