EDP Renewables inaugurates 2 wind farms in Italy

EDP Renewables Italia Holding S.r.l. on Sept. 24 inaugurated two wind farms in the municipality of Lavello in the Italian region of Basilicata.

The Tivano and San Mauro wind farms have a combined installed capacity of 28 MW. Both wind projects consist of seven wind turbines, each with a capacity of 2 MW.

The EDP - Energias de Portugal SA subsidiary now has an installed capacity of 271 MW in Italy, according to a news release.
