Pages from Yahoo!Inc.'s sale "book" revealed that the Internet company is workingto introduce a mobile search assistant called Index, Re/code reported April 6.
The personal assistant could reportedly help the Internet companybetter compete with companies like AppleInc., Microsoft Corp.and Alphabet Inc.'s that have already launchedsuch services.
The sale "book" has reportedly been prepared for potentialbuyers to help them preparea bid for the company by looking at the company's disclosure documents. Interestedparties have also been given access to a data room that offers detailed information.
Also according to the sale "book," Yahoo expects itsworkforce to be about 9,000 by the end of 2016, compared to 10,500 in 2015 and 12,500in 2014.
