Independent production company All3Media Ltd. has acquired Aurora Media Worldwide UK Ltd. for an undisclosed sum, TBI Vision reported Dec. 12.

The British sports producer will become part of All3Media's portfolio, which now includes 29 production and distribution companies across Britain, Europe, Asia-Pacific and the U.S.

Aurora is the production partner on racing series ABB FIA Formula E Championship, along with North One Television that was also acquired by All3Media. It is led by former Endemol Shine Group, IMG and British Broadcasting Corp. executive Lawrence Duffy as managing director.

Discovery Inc. and Liberty Global PLC jointly own All3Media.
