Chicago-based Northern Trust Corp. named Herman Prummel country head for the Netherlands.

Prummel replaces Wim van Ooijen, the bank's country head for Germany, who was recently appointed to lead Northern Trust's business activities in Switzerland.

Prummel joined Northern Trust from BlackRock Inc., where he was COO for the Netherlands, Nordics and Isle of Man regions.
