Indian hospitality startup Oyo Hotels & Homes acquired Copenhagen-based data science company Danamica for an undisclosed sum.
Oyo, which recently committed €300 million to the vacation homes business in Europe, said Danamica has machine learning and business intelligence capabilities with a focus on dynamic pricing.
The acquisition will help the company in becoming more accurate with pricing, resulting in higher efficiencies and yield for its real estate owners and value for money for its global guests, an Oyo executive said.
Oyo also expects the acquisition to allow the company to leverage dynamic pricing across its OYO Home, Belvilla and DanCenter brands.
