Macarthur Minerals Ltd.said April 26 that it has applied for an additional five exploration licenses inthe Pilbara region of Western Australia, expanding its total tenement area to 1,379square kilometers.

Macarthur is currently undertaking a detailed review of all its acreage andplans to commence a stage one airborne reconnaissance program over the Pilbara tenements. The review indicates that available acreage in Western Australia with the same geologicalattribute as Pilbara is becoming scarce.
