Phoenixville,Pa.-based CustomersBank, a unit of Customers Bancorp Inc., appointed senior vice president andbanking group head to its New York metro private and commercial bankingdivision, according to an April 13 news release.

Finehas been in the banking industry for nearly 40 years. He previously served asgroup director and senior vice president at New York-based Signature Bank.

Millersburg, Pa.-based Mid Penn Bank, a unit of , named executive vicepresident and director of trust and wealth management, according to an April 13news release.

Paese, a certified financial planner, joins Mid Penn fromF.N.B. Corp. andF.N.B. Investment AdvisorsInc. where he served as managing executive.

Matthew Carman,Amy Broyles, and James Holder joined the board of Hartsville, Tenn.-basedCitizens Bank, asubsidiary of CumberlandBancshares Inc., TheHartsville Vidette reported April 13.

Carman is a broker and auctioneer with Gene CarmanReal Estate and Auction, while Broyles is a pharmacist and owner of HartsvillePharmacy. Holder formed a farming partnership with his father that remains inoperation, according to the report.

JoanSecoquian joined Palo Alto, Calif.-based Avidbank, a subsidiary of , as senior vicepresident and relationship manager in the corporate banking division, accordingto an April 13 news release.

Secoquian has more than 20 years of bankingexperience, most recently as a vice president at unit , managing middle marketportfolios.

JohnErickson tendered his resignation from the board of and itscommittees, effective April 12. Erickson, who Zions' board in 2014, notifiedthe company that he will be accepting an offer of employment with anotherfinancial institution that conflicts with his ability to continue serving onthe board, according to a Form 8-K filed April 13.

Zions noted in the filing that Erickson's decision toresign is based on the requirements of his new position and is not a result ofany dispute or disagreement with the board or the company.

Forsyth, Ga.-based Persons Banking Co., a unit of , named WilliamDaniel president of the Peoples Bank division in Conyers, Ga., according toan April 13 news release posted on

Fairfax,Va.-based First VirginiaCommunity Bank, a unit of FVCBankcorp Inc., named senior vice president andsenior retail officer, according to an April 11 news release.Jackson, who has 30 years of banking experience, most recently served asexecutive vice president and director of business development for Fairfax,Va.-based MainStreetBank.

JackNovak, executive vicepresident and chief marketing officer of First Virginia CommunityBank, is set to retire at the end of April. Novak has been with the bank fornearly five years.

Michael Bibak was elected as a director of to serve atwo-year term, according to an April 11 news release. Bibak is and CEO of theClearfield, Pa.-based company and unit Clearfield Bank & Trust Co.

AtJeffersonville, N.Y.-based JeffBank, a unit of Jeffersonville Bancorp, and Tanya Hahn werepromoted to executive vice presidents, according to an April 7 news release.

Russellcurrently serves as CFO of Jeff Bank, a role he has held since 2009. Hahn, whojoined the bank in 1984, has served as chief lending officer since 2006.
