DeNA Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2015, was ¥17.29 per share, a decrease of 41.4% from ¥29.49 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥2.51 billion, a decline of 34.5% from ¥3.83 billion in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin fell to 7.4% from 11.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue decreased on an annual basis to ¥33.84 billion from ¥34.45 billion, and total operating expenses grew from the prior-year period to ¥30.53 billion from ¥29.28 billion.
Reported net income decreased 51.5% year over year to ¥1.58 billion, or ¥10.91 per share, from ¥3.27 billion, or ¥25.15 per share.
