Bank ofIndia established a branch in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Viet Nam News reported July 25.

The branch was officially inaugurated July 22. Bank of Indiawas the first Indian bank to receive a branch license in the country in 2015.

With the new branch, the bank aims to support small andmedium-sized enterprises and encourage ventures between Vietnamese and Indiancompanies, the publication said.
